Benjamin Goldberg died in Dec. 2016 at 8 years old from neuroblastoma. His mother, Wendy Goldberg, started the Benjamin Goldberg Foundation in 2018 to empower and support children and their families on their medical journey.

Benjamin Goldberg Playroom Brings Music & Light To CHKD’s New Hematology and Oncology Unit
Benjamin Goldberg was a boy who loved music, dancing, and life. He also had a rare type of cancer, which he died of in 2016 when he was 8 years old.
Thanks to a foundation his mother, Wendy Goldberg, created in his honor, the Virginia Beach boy’s spirit lives on.

Benjamin Goldberg is a huge Michael Jackson fan. After two months of chemotherapy, which took all of Benjamin’s hair and most of his stamina, he was treated like a rock star Saturday at Old Dominion University‘s football game with Campbell University.
